Looking to brighten up gray, wintry days and menus? We can't think of a much easier way than with the sun-sational taste of tangy, naturally sweet-and-juicy lemons, limes, oranges, tangerines and grapefruit!

That's why Simple & Delicious chose "A Splash of Citrus" for our next recipe contest theme. We're looking for your favorite recipes featuring zesty citrus—from breads to breakfast bakes, salads, stir-fries and main dishes, veggie sides seasoned with lemon peel, appetizers, marinades, muffins and delectable desserts!

Any dish that showcases the refreshing taste of citrus is eligible, whether your recipe calls for fresh, frozen or canned. But be sure to send only those specialties that your family and friends ask for again and again!

Deadline for entries is April 1, 2010. Be sure to send along any fun variations or tips for extra-quick preparation.

Winners will be published in the January/February 2011 issue of Simple & Delicious.

You Could Win Cash! Each of the 12 winners in the Simple & Delicious "A Splash of Citrus" contest receives a wonderful prize:
