My children love pasta. My oldest daughter puts peas inside her penne and transforms it into a nifty pea shooter. My middle child uses her pasta to make disguises, such as mustaches and false eyelashes. Yes, it usually ends up in her hair. My youngest child builds pasta towers, and then dismantles them noodle by noodle.
Let’s just hope for manners’ sake they are not served pasta on the night they eat dinner with the President. Hail to the Chief?

Quick Pasta Primavera
• Sauté vegetables such as broccoli, zucchini, and carrots in olive oil and garlic and add them to plain marinara sauce.
• Heat all ingredients and pour over cooked pasta.
Bell Pepper and Spinach with Pasta
• Sauté red bell peppers and toss in fresh spinach until it wilts.
• Add tomato sauce and heat until sauce is warm.
• Pour over cooked pasta.
